Company Secretary Salary

A company secretary in India gets an average INR 3,00,000 per year as salary with a small and medium scale enterprise,  With larger organisations, this salary goes up to INR 5,00,000 per annum.

When it comes to large corporate houses and multinational firms, company secretaries easily get around a salary between INR 8,00,000 to INR 1.5 million per annum.

A Fresher CS can earn per month starting salary can be anywhere between Rs. 28,000 and 

Rs. 40,000

 

Stages to become a Company Secretary:

Ø  The student who would like to join the Course after 10+2 pass or equivalent has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e. 
Foundation Programme 
Executive Programme
Professional Programme

 

 

 

Ø  The Student who would like to join the Course after passing the Graduation has to undergo two stages of the Company Secretary ship i.e. 
Executive Programme
Professional Programme

 

Ø  Foundation Programme/ Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) can be pursued by 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream.

 

Ø  Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.

 

Ø  Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course.

 

Duration:-

Foundation Programme (8 Months)

Executive Programme (9 months)

Professional Programme (10Months)

 

 

ICSI CS 2020 Qualifying Marks:-

 

You should score minimum 40% in each paper and 50% to pass the Foundation Exam, Executive as well as Professional Programme.
