Yes. ICAI prescribes the minimum stipend
of 2k for the articles. It also increases every year by certain amount like
hikes in salaries do.
As far as I know maximum stipend is:
1st year : 15k
2nd year : 20k
3rd year : 25 k
which is offered by only EY and KPMG as of
now. Apart from this, you will also get the reimbursement of expenses
(travelling, food, etc) incurred at client place. It depends upon firm policy
whether you get it on actual basis or there is some fixed amount.
But remember, never judge a firm by its
